"Behind the gates only death ...". Nightmare is a veritable hymn of heavy music and Sarcófago is a great influence on the musical formation of the Pesta’s members. Then making a version of this song came naturally in the recording sessions of our new album, and – with the blessing of our friend Wagner Antichrist himself – was our tribute of this great classic of black / death metal!
Pesta, like Sarcófago, is a band from Belo Horizonte, the Brazilian capital of heavy music. Our version of Nightmare isn't only a tribute to Sarcófago, but to all the great bands of the past and the present of our hometown!
